Mrs. Mary Gamble Van Blarcom, widow of Jacob C. Van Blarcom, president of the National Bank of Commerce, who died in 1908, died suddenly at 5 a.m. today from heart failure, at her residence, 1 Westmoreland place. She is survived by one son, Frederick Van Blarcom, of the same address.
Mrs. Van Blarcom was Miss Mary Gamble of near Bloomington, Ill., before she came to St. Louis as Mrs. Van Blarcom in 1871. At the time of her death she was 72 years old.
Private funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon from the residence to the Missouri crematory.
