MRS. AUGUST KAMRATH

Louise Berlett, daughter of Valentine and Louise Berlett, was born at Hessen, Germany, July 1 1859, and died at her home in Wing, Monday July 27, at the age of 66 years and 26 days.

She grew to young womanhood in her native land, remaining there until 20 years of age, when she came to America and located at Chatsworth. On October 21, 1880 she was united in marriage to August Kamrath, with whom she shared the joys and sorrows of life for almost 45 years. Thirteen children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Kamrath, four of whom have passed away namely fred W., Louisa, August F and Mollie. She leaves to mourn her loss her sorrowing husband and companion of 45 years, and two sons and seven daughters. They are Henry of Wing; Edward of Saunemiin; Mrs. Fred Brown of Owego; Mrs. Percy Mason, of Saunemin; Mrs. Milton Holloway, of Emington; Mrs. Henry Fieldcamp, of Cullom; Mrs. Elmer Holloway, of Wing; Mrs. Gerald George, of Kankakee, and Anna, at home.

Most of the married life of Mr and Mrs. Kamrath had been spent in Livingston county in and near Wing. The past five years she had been a great sufferer but in all her affliction she was very patient and consigned to God's will. While yet young in years she accepted Christ as her Saviour and united with the Eva gelical church and died in that faith. She was a devoted wife, a lving mother and kind neighbor.

The funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Wing, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and were largely attended. Rev. Chas. Wunch officiated and interment was in Pleasant Ridge cemetery. The pallbearers were Phillip Brown, Albert Bollier, Robert Vogelsinger, Thomas Perrine, Charles Perrine and Carl Schrof. ---- Fairbury Blade 8-6-1925.
