Gary, 64, Lima, died at 8:30 p.m., at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was a son to Lloyd H. and Jean C. (Currier) Spayde. His mother, Jean C. Straub, survivors in Strongsville.
Also surviving are a son, Michael G., Aurora, CO; a daughter, Shelley A. Spayde, Severn, MD; two sisters, Nita (Bob) Alby, Palm Dessert, CA, and Kathy (Mike Fazzari) Herzing, Reno, NV; and a granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Nolta.
He retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant after 30 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199. He enjoyed boating, traveling and playing golf.
A remembrance service will be held at LOM Lodge 199.
