Conner was born in Lancaster, a son of Harold G. Sr., and Catherine Rudes Connor. He was a junior at Garden Spot High School, where he had played soccer in junior high school. He also played the saxophone in the junior high band and won the Gold Key Award from the Lancaster County Art Association in the Art Fair.
He participated in the New Holland Farm Show in arts and crafts and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He was a member of Our
Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Holland.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a maternal grandmother, Anna Mary Rudes, Lancaster; two brothers and three sisters: Ronald W. Connor, at home; Harold G. Connor Jr., New,Holland; Carol, wife of Kenneth Simmons, Linda Sue Connor and Lorrie G., wife of Randall Kern, all of New Holland; three neices and nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.
