Funeral for Vangie Naomi Eaves, 95, of Garrison will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holly Springs Baptist Church, Garrison, with the Rev. Homer Murray and the Rev. Gerald Faulkner officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine. Ms. Eaves died Oct. 9, 2007, at a Nacogdoches hospital. Born Sept. 15, 1912, in Rosevine, she was the daughter of James Thomas Berry and Mary Louvine Green Berry. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She was married to Albert Eaves and to Crump; both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Sherrouse of Garrison; sister, Bessie Viola Stapleton of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
