Amy was the daughter of Orenzo B. Milliken (1829-1904) and Dianne (Dosh) Milliken (1833-1927). She married Henry W. Mattley in Sheridan County, Nebraska on 15 January 1886.

They had two children: Andrew B. Mattley and Ethel Mattley. Andrew married and had at least one child.

Ethel never married. She was a Missionary Teacher in China just prior to WW II and was captured (prisoner of war) by the Japanese soldiers. She was repatriated by the US government and returned to South Dakota. I am still researching to see if she returned to China after the war.
