Funeral services for Erma Pearl Rogers, 89, of Athens, are
Scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at the Foster & Brown Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. Burial will be at Shelby Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers died at South Place Nursing Home Friday afternoon.

She was born Jan. 25, 1907 in Dawson to John Henry and Carro Lizzie Kay Clay. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of The Central Baptist Church of Athens.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Charles Henry, Sidney Clay Wilson, Sr. and Otis Rogers, a son, Sidney Clay Wilson Jr. and a daughter Etta Lou Levassar.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, A. T. and Thelma Henry of Mabank, J. W. and Louise Wilson of Athens and Johnny and Betty Wilson of Athens; one daughter, Inez Raines of Quinlan; two brothers, Jimmy H. Clay of Gun Barrel City, and Eddie Clay of Rowlett; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Wilson, Jerry Don Kelley, Jeremy Scruggs, Jason Ramsey, Bryan Kelly, and Chad Kelly.
Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Henry, Jody Wilson, Jerry
Kelly, and Chester Levassar.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
