Christine was born to John and Doris (nee Herrling) Manley into a proud Wisconsin family. They moved to Laguna Niguel, CA in the late 50's. As Chris got older, she became addicted to the beach, dirt bikes, horses, and desert racing along with her brother Jeff. She had a great smile, laugh, and had many friends. She became a Christian at, of all things, a Neal Diamond concert in 1972. On April 21, 1979, she married Jeffrey M. Allendorph in Walnut Creek, California. She subsequently had Lindsey, Molly, and Matthew, her adoring children. Chris was a fun-filled, nurturing, and loving mother who taught her children how to love Jesus.
In 1987, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought it off, being declared cancer free. In November 1992, the cancer returned and in February 1993, she went home to Jesus. There is not a day that goes by that she is not remembered by her former husband and loving children.
