Adam Walter Poston,a life long resident of Montgomery county, and youngest son of a family of ten children of Elizabeth and I. N. Poston, he suffered a stroke Sunday morning, May 7 and died at his home at 1 a.m. May 18 within less than a half mile of the place where he was born on March 4, 1863, in a log cabin. He was married to Ada Starr, February 7, 1900 and they spent practically all their married life on or near the Poston homestead.
He leaves, besides his widow, two sons and one daughter. Max M. and Malcolm of Villisca and Mrs. Florence Gilbert of Sidney, Iowa and two grandchildren, Paul Walter Poston and Ann Gilbert and one sister Frances E. Sampson of Hansen, Idaho.
