Donald Louis "Lou" Lee
December 23, 1923 - July 19, 2011
Donald "Lou" Lee, 87, residing in Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his home. He was born on December 24, 1923 in South Bend, IN to the late Donald W. and Esther (Fields) Lee and remained a lifelong resident. On June 14, 1964 in Wabash, IN he married Jacqueline (Montgomery) Lee, who survives.

Along with his loving wife, Jacqueline, Lou is survived by three daughters, Debra Polmanteer of AZ, Julie (Buck) Park of White Pigeon, MI and Andrea Maloney of Augusta, GA; three sons, Kevin Rollings of Dayton, OH, Kent (Penni) Rollings of Atlanta, GA and Robert (Lisa) Lee of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren, Kristin Harris, Matthew Harris, Joshua Lee, Rachel Lee, Brogan Maloney and Claire Maloney; and one brother, J. Richard (Elaine) Lee of Arlington, TX. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Two brothers preceded him in death.

During World War II, Lou served in the United States Navy Air Wing in the South Pacific.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Rev. Greg R. Lee will officiate. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lou Lee may be made to Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
