Funeral services for Michael Worth Rainbolt, 47, of Great Bend, Kansas, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 4, 1996 in First Christian Church, KS with the Rev. William Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery under the direction of Bryant-Christians Funeral Home. Visitation began at 9 a.m. today, Sept 3 and continues until 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Mr. Rainbolt died Saturday, Aug 31, 1996 in a Great Bend hospital.
He was born Oct 2, 1948 in San Saba to Sam Worth Rainbolt and Juanita M Russell Luddeke. He was an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and had lived in Fort Worth for 23 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the American Legion, the Golden Belt Saddle Club and the Golden Belt Babe Ruth.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Rainbolt of Great Bend; one son, Travis Rainbolt Postlewaite of Lawrence, KS; one daughter, Traci Rainbolt of Great Bend; his mother, Juanita M Luddeke of LaVernia; one brother, Robert R Rainbolt of Fort Worth; one sister, Ginger Billingslay of Dublin, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Children's Educational Fund.
