Joseph Baltzer Hoover born Dec.25,1814 in Allegany,Furnace,Pennsylvania,son of Baltzer and Elizabeth(Lamar)Hoover.He married Mary Nepper on Nov.29,1838 at St.Patrick's Church in Newy,Blair County,Penn.To this union they were blessed with ten children,Matilda Hoover,Mary Hoover,Franklin Hoover,Cecilia Hoover,Anthony Hoover,Elizabeth Hoover,and Charles Hoover.Joseph died March 28 in Easton,Kansas.Survivors include his beloved wife Mary;four sons;four daughters.
