Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Beebe Funeral Home for Carl V. Adams, 83, who died Sunday morning (March 19) at his home at 145 Homer Road.
The Rev. Samuel L. Stuart officiated and burial was in Sunset View Cemetery.
A retired farmer, Mr. Adams was born in Paulding County, O., October 19, 1877, the son of Jesse and Alice J. Alexander Adams.
He had lived in the Jonesville area for the past 47 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah F. Price, Adams, in 1957, and one son.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Lucile) Welden of Dearborn; a son, Ray, of Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Edna) Limes, Bowling Green, Ohio; and Mrs. Thad (Mearle) Kimmey of Cincinnati; three sons, Clyde, Delphos, Ohio; Earl, Portage, Ohio; and Charles, Defiance, Ohio; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
