Mr. Daniel Levi "Bobby" Barfield, 70, of Enigma died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Enigma Baptist Church with Rev. P. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Albritton-Beaumont. Pallbearers will be his sons and nephews.
Born on October 26, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Douglas Folds Barfield and Katie Tucker Barfield, Mr. Barfield was retired from Ford Motor Company Parts Division in Jacksonville, Florida and had also worked at Target Distribution Center in Tifton. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, taxidermy, and painting oil pictures.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Barfield, and a brother, Wallace Barfield.
