Benjamin F. "Benny" Belock, 3-year-old son of John and Stephanie (Meyers) Belock of Poynette, Wis., formerly of Rock Island, died Friday, April 21, 2000, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
Benny was born June 13, 1996, in Madison, Wis.
Survivors include his parents, brothers Mitch and Bryce and sisters Sarah, Katie and Anna, all at home; his grandparents, John and Pam Meyers, Rock Island, and George and Lois Belock, Oro Valley, Ariz.; grandfather, Gene (Millie) Miller, Texas; great-grandmother, Lucille Tarpy, Rock Island; great-grandfather, Charles L. Meyers Sr., Rock Island; a special friend, Donna Rankin, Poynette; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Adam.
