On July 30, 1918, he married in Syracuse, Miss Hyacinth Andre of Croghan, and a few months later they came to Croghan, to reside with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and
Mrs. John A. Bintz. At their death the home was bequeathed to them, and they have resided there since.
Besides his widow he is survived by five daughters and three sons, Mrs. David (Ruth) Talbolt, of Beach Hill; Mrs. Dwight (Derith) Taylor, Croghan; Janice, Ronald, Donald and
Neil at home; Jack Forney, San Jose, Calif.; and Sharland Forney, Croghan; also one brother, Brig. Gen. Donald Forney, USA; five sisters, Mrs. Perrial Fannon, and Miss Beatrice Forney, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Jane) Van Landingham, Manila; Mrs. Fred (Alice) Lincoln, Port Alice, Vancouver; and Miss Arloine Forney, Brooklyn, and six grandchildren.
