William A. File Jr., aged 29, son of William File Sr., who for the past 11 years had been connected with his father in conducting the New American Hotel, 251-253 W. Dominick Street, died at 11 pm Saturday after a ten days illness with complications. He had been out of health for some tme. He was born at Hawley, NY, but all his life had been spent in Rome. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. On January 4, 1911, he wa married to Miss Mary Reil of this city, who survives with one daughter, Carolyn. He also leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William File, four sisters, Mrs. George Tritsch and Misses May and Bertha File of Rome, and Mrs. Louis Bonney of Rochester. He was a young man who was well known and liked an his many friend will regret to learn of his death.
The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Louisa Reil Tuesday at 9 o'clock and at St. Mary's Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
