Joseph Arnone, father of judge
RED BANK - Joseph Arnone, 77, father of Superior Court Judge John P. Arnone, died in Riverview Hospital yesterday.
He lived at 261 River Road and was a retired grocer. Mr. Arnone was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived here most of his life. He owned his own butcher shop for over 40 years.
Mr. Arnone was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the church's Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his widow, the former Margaret Formica; two sons, Judge Arnone and Michael Arnone, both here; five brothers, James Arnone of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla , John, Dennis B. and Michael J. Arnone, all here, and Patrick Arnone of Little Silver; three sisters, Mrs. Angelina Apollo of Maspeth, Long Island, Mrs. Joseph Marks, here, Mrs. John Robson of Little Silver; and six grandchildren.
The William S. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
