Lola B. "Tiny" Taylor, 95, of New London, Mo., died at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at the Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal, Mo.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Salem Cemetery in Center, Mo. The Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, Mo.
Mrs. Taylor was born on Jan. 31, 1917, near New London, Mo., to Homer and Lillie Lake Milam.
She was married to Eugene "Gene" Taylor on June 5, 1954, in Hannibal, Mo., by the Rev. John W. Golden. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1970.
Also preceding Mrs. Taylor in death were her parents; a niece, Carol J. Lake; and two nephews, Wayne Morrison and Carl Stout.
Survivors include her sister, Leona Lake; two nieces, Bonnie Jean Morrison and Joyce Ann Stout, both of New London, Mo.; two nephews, Dean Lake of Center, Mo., and Wayne Lake (Margaret) of New London, Mo.; and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
Mrs. Taylor was member of the Moose Lodge. She was the co-owner with her husband of Taylor's 66 and Garage in New London. For many years she also worked at the Court-Grill Restaurant, Taylor's 1st Lunch and Shady restaurants. Mrs. Taylor also previously worked at Tyler Metal Company, P.D. Liquor Store in Hannibal, and 10 years at the Western Auto in New London. She was a volunteer for several years for N.E.C.E.C. Mrs. Taylor was united with Bethel Christian Church in 1933.
Memorials may be made to the Salem Cemetery or to the Ralls County Health Department, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal.
