Laura A. (Stump) Fisher, age 101, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, July 18th, 2011 at Berks Heim.
Her husband, Howard N. Fisher, died in 1995.
Born in Robesonia, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and I. Elizabeth (Gelsinger) Stump.
She was a member of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church in Robesonia.
She is survived by a son, Harold L. Fisher, husband of B. Ann Bender Fisher, West Lawn; a daughter, Lois A., wife of Robert C. Hoy, West Lawn; three grandchildren, Michael Hoy, Thomas Hoy, and Beth Bittner; and eight great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hoy, Daniel Hoy, Jessica Hoy, Joseph Hoy, Emma Bittner, Ethan Bittner, Benjamin Morrow, and Nathaniel Morrow.
She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Valerie Fisher, a brother, LeRoy Stump, and two sisters, Mabel Angstadt and Margaret Lape.
Services will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville, with Rev. John Aurand officiating. Interment at Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00am at the funeral home.
