FORT WORTH - J.W. "Blackie" Blackburn, a retired General Dynamics employee, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Blackburn was born in Elmore City, Okla., and lived in Fort Worth for more than 40 years.

Survivors: Wife, Mary L. Blackburn of Fort Worth; two daughters, Janet Wilburn of Fort Worth and Judy Arnold of Dallas; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
