CHARLES W WISE: 92, of S Broad St-Ashland, a former resident of Grafton, died yesterday afternoon [10-14] in Samaritan Hosp-Ashland, after an illness of several months. MrWise was born in Grafton Twp. A retired farmer, he had also been employed by the village of Grafton several years. MrWise was a member of the Belden United Methodist Church & a former member of the Lorain County Fair Board. He had lived in Ashland 2 years.
Surviving are his wife Agnes; 2 daus: MrsJean Kettle-Columbus; MrsRuth Phillips-Cleveland; a foster son: Leonard Lenninger-Elyria; a foster daughter: MrsViolet Schultz-OakRidge TN; several grandchildren & a brother: Herman-Amherst.
The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon [10-17] at the Russell Fulton Funeral Home-Grafton. The Rev W L Vernon will officiate. Burial will be in Belden Cemetery.
