GRAFTON COLUMN
HENRY WISE, a life-long resident of Belden passed away at his home on Thursday [8-22] following a severe illness of several weeks at the at of 81yrs, 10mos, 17dys. The funeral services were held at the home at 1:30 & in the Evangelical church at Valley City at 2PM Sunday afternoon [8-25] & were very largely attended, about 100 automobiles being in the procession from the home. Rev Paul Langhurst from Buffalo NY officiated at the service. Burial was in the Belden Cem.
He is survived by his wife, 7 daus: Mrs Bertha Marsh & Mrs Edith Shuster-Grafton; Mrs Ella Droege & Mrs Lorena Spieth-Detroit MI; Mrs Amanda Stoskopf-NewLondon; Mrs Anna Moehle-Elyria; Mrs Agnes Cousins-Akron; 3 sons: Elmer & Clarence-Grafton; Henry Wise Jr-Canton; 29 grandchildren & 1 brother: Fred Wise of Elyria.
Relatives & friends were present at the funeral from Detroit MI, Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Parma, Elyria, NewLondon, Columbia, Grafton & Valley City.
