Final Rites Tuesday for Floyd Evans
Funeral services for Floyd B. Evans, who retired to Pasadena in 1938 after serving for many years as merchandising manager for the Butler Brothers firm of Chicago, will be held at 3:30 Tuesday at the Edwards & Cummings Mortuary, 317 Lincoln Ave.
Mr. Evans, a native of Chicago, lives at 312 S. Grand Ave., Pasadena. He died Saturday.
Since moving to Pasadena, he was director of the Death Valley 49er's and was prominent in local and national photographic circles. He was a graduate of Yale and was a fellow of the Photographic Society of America.
He is survived by his widow, Jenella;
two daughters, Mrs. Michael Conrad of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Ronald Terry of Dallas, Texas;
three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
