Noted Spanish Poet. He was a member of the Generation of '27 with Lorca, Cernuda, Alberti and others. He was forced to exile during Franco's dictatorship. He won the Cervantes Award in 1976 when he returned to Spain. Among his books: "Maremagnum," "A la Altura de las Circunstancias," "Cántico," "Homenaje-Reunión de Vidas," and "Aire Nuestro."
