Frank F. Tercis, 77, a resident of 1061 Islay street, died in a local hospital this morning after a lengthy illness.
A native son, born in San Luis Obispo, April 20, 1881, he was a well-known contractor-painter for many years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Tercis of San Luis Obispo.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the R.F. Richardson company funral home.

TERCIS ROSARY SET
Rosary for Frank F. Tercis, 77, will be held at 8 o'clock Sunday night in the R.F. Richardson company funeral chapel, with requiem mass at 10 a.m. Monday in the Old Mission.
Burial will be in the family plot of the Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Tercis is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Tercis of San Luis Obispo; a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Moore of San Luis Obispo; two grandsons, William A. Clements and George A. Moore III; a great-grandson, David Clements, and a great-granddaughter, Kemberly Clements.
Mr. Tercis, native and lifelong resident of San Luis Obispo, died Tuesday.
