January 11, 1918, in Boston, MA, and long time resident and businessman in Orlando, FL, died July 4, 2011, in Washington, DC. Sam moved to Orlando in 1944 to work at the Baby Juice Fruit Company. He then purchased his own
packing house -- Apopka Fruit Company -- where he worked until his retirement. Following the death of his wife Esther G. Miller in 2008, Sam moved to Washington, DC to be with his son, daughter-in-law and their family. He is survived by his daughter Janet Miller Brown, his son-in-law Dr. Victor Brown, his son Richard Miller, his daughter-in-law Ellen S. Miller, four grand children and four great grand children. He was buried in a family plot at Beth El Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA, on July 7, 2011. Remembrances may be made to one's favorite charity in Sam's name.
