Irene was the daughter of Carl & Lucille Wallace Parker and the wife of Grady Boles, who died in 1952 (obit quoted 1950 in error).

She was a retired LPN from St. Joseph's Hospital and was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, past Worthy Matron of Vance Chapter 191.

She was survived by her parents, a daughter and son (Rev. David Allman); two sisters, Dorothy Sawyer and Helen Rice; two brothers, Howard Parker and Robert C "Bob" Parker, Jr.; and two grandsons.

Services: Thursday, January 31, 1985, chapel of West Funeral Home.

Burial: Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
