Linnea Cecelia Alm, 26, died Sunday morning, June 5, after a lingering illness. Services were conducted by Rev Slatt at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church of Center City, Tuesday afternoon.
Miss Alm was born November 3, 1911 at Center City. She was baptized and confirmed in the Chisago Lake Lutheran church of which she was a member. She graduated from the Chisago Lake High School in 1929. In 1933 she graduated from nurses training at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. After graduating she engaged in private duty nursing.
She leaves to mourn her loss her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alm, a brother Edwin Alm and six sisters, MRs Ruth Magnuson, Mpls, Mrs. Hildur Crain, Duluth, Mrs. Alma Priebe, Stacy, Mrs. Emma Akins, Moose Lake and Misses Mildred and Ellen Alm of Mpls.
The honorary pallbearers, classmates and friends of the deceased were Mrs. Ruth Forseth, Mrs. Ruth Keller, Mrs. Dorothy Wahlstrom, Mrs. Irene Shoquist, Miss Emma Isaacson and Miss Vera Miller. Pallbearers were Clifford Grandstrand, Vincent Bloom, Edward Miller and Carl Harkman.
