He is survived by his son: Glen Avers, two daughters: Aileen (Wendell) Fletcher, and Wilda Rayburn all of Lincoln; two brothers: Edward and Louie both of Davenport, Nebraska;and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ada; four brothers: Art, August, Emiel and Will; and three sisters: Augusta Jagels, Edna and Emilie Avers.
Seaford retired from his farm in Nuckolls County, Nebraska (near Davenport). He was instrumental in building of the Immanuel Lutheran Chuch and parsonage in Lincoln. He is a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
