DRESDEN - Margaret Gibson, 87, of Dresden, died at 11:39 am Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Dresden, to the late Daniel J. and Mabel A. Cullins Comer. She was a 1939 graduate of Jefferson High School and had been a member of the old Chalfants Methodist Church and had transferred membership to the Dresden United Methodist Church when Chalfants closed. For many years she had worked at Lacy's Meats.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Gibson; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Richard and Daniel Comer; and a sister, Betty J. Cullins.
Pastor Max Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
