Byron Kellogg Lived for Thirty Years in Cleveland Township

Many Elkhartans will learn with regret of the death of Byron L. Kellogg, who passed away last night at 10:30 o'clock at his home on the Edwardsburg road two miles north of the city. Dropsy was the cause of death. The deceased had been a resident of Cleveland township for thirty years and he was one of the best liked men in the county. He was born at Edwardsburg, Mich., March 15, 1841, and was therefore 62 years old. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Cleveland on June 3, 1869, and to this union four children were born, Georgia C., Louise, Mildred and Percy Byron. There is also a grandchild, Bernice Farley.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Cleveland township Lutheran church.
