PERCY JOHN ROOT: a well-known farmer of LaGrange, died early this morning [8-23] at Elyria Memorial Hosp after an illness of 8 mos. He was born in Belden 05 Aug 1874 & lived in LaGrange for 40 years, where he was a member of the Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife Emma Law Root & 2 daus: Rachel Louise Root-PhoenixAZ; Florence Law Root-Elyria. Two brothers & a sister: Frederick, Frank & Florence all preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday afternoon [8-25]. Burial will be in Belden Cem.
