FLORENCE LAW ROOT: 60, a stenographer & accountant in the Lorain Cnty auditor's office for 40yrs, died early today [10-16] at East-haven Nursing Home after a lingering illness. Born 29 May 1905 in GraftonTwp, Miss Root was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. She retired in July of this year from the auditor's office. She was a member of the Lutheran Evangelical Church-ValleyCity.
Miss Root is survived by her mother-MrsEmma Root of LaGrange.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday after-noon [10-19] at Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home, with Rev Bruce G Kriete, pastor of St Paul United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Belden Cem.
