Deceased Name: Cornelius A. Haag, 81, of Springfield died at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 22, 1906, in York, Neb. Before his retirement in 1970, he was general manager of the Springfield Building Supply Co. and also served as chairman of the Garretson Lumber Co. in Virden.

Mr. Haag was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church; also a member of St. Paul's Lodge 500 AF&AM; Valley of Springfield Scottish Rite; Ansar Temple and past president of the Illinois Building Materials Distributors and the Illinois Wholesale Club.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Anne E. Fisher officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Ridge Mausoleum.
