Jay was born April 2, 1931, in Cleburne, TX, to the late John W. and Roberta Osborne Cashion. Jay was a former policeman for the City of Fort Worth, and a proud veteran of the the U.S. Air Force. He was a farrier, and celebrated 36 years with the Fort Worth Stock Show, with his tenure ending in management. Survivors: His wife of 50 years, Carretta Cashion, of Rendon; daughter, Rae Huffstetter, and husband Ron, of Arlington; grandchildren, Catherine Logan, and Connor Jay Huffstetter; brother, Kenneth Cashion, and wife Bettie, of Picayune, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
