Mr. Reardon was born in New Zion, SC, on November 28, 1927, a son of the late Philip Bune Reardon and Mary Lorena Burns Reardon.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Reardon was a supervisor with Milliken Lockhart Plant. He was a member of Lockhart Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and Adult Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the Lockhart Fire Department.
Mr. Reardon was an avid hunter and golfer and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Margaret, are a son, Keith Reardon and wife Kim of Union; a daughter, Norma Bickley and husband Les of Chapin, SC. He was a devoted grandfather to his granddaughter, Kira Reardon. Also surviving are a brother, Carroll Reardon of Walterboro, SC; and a sister, Nell Welsh of Goose Creek, SC.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Lockhart Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Steve Lemons. Burial will follow in Union Memorial Gardens.
Nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Members of the Adult Sunday School Class are asked to sit in a group to form the honorary escort.
