Lee Edmondson Norbury, of Columbia, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at University Hospital and Clinics. He was 84.
Mr. Norbury was born May 8, 1914, in Springfield to Bradford E. and Mable E. Norbury. He graduated from the University of Missouri College of Agriculture in 1937.
He married Marion Albrecht on June 20, 1974, in Columbia. Mr. Norbury was a member of Community United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Show-Me Central Habitat for Humanity, Golden K Kiwanis, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and a former member of the Daniel Boone Regional Library Board.
Services, conducted by the Rev. Susan Cox-Johnson, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Community United Methodist Church, 3301 W. Broadway.
Mr. Norbury is survived by his wife, his former wife, Emily Krusekopf Siegel of Kansas City; three sons, Fredrick Norbury of Juneau, Alaska, David Norbury of Lebanon, John Norbury of Boonville; two daughters, Nancy Jean Reid of Carlsbad, N.M., Emily Sue Lammers of Newton, Kan.; one sister, Jean Miller of Norfolk, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
One daughter died earlier. Memorials may be sent to: Golden K Kiwanis Club Foundation, 2870 E. Millcreek Terrace, Columbia, Mo., 65203 or Show-Me Central Habitat For Humanity, 1123 Wilkes Blvd. #12, Columbia, Mo., 65201.
