FALL FATAL TO STAR CITY WOMAN

Mrs. Henry Brust Dies From Injuries

Star City, April 6--Mrs. Myrtle Brust, 67, wife of Henry Brust, died at 5:30 this evening, six hours after a fall down the basement stairs at her home. The well-known local woman was found unconscious by her husband at 11:30 this morning. He had been out of the house about ten minutes. She had suffered severe injuries to the back of her head, and never regained consciousness. A heel of her slipper was found torn loose, indicating the cause of her fall. Prominent in Pulaski county activities, Mrs. Brust, the former Myrtle Dye, was a member of the Star City Methodist church. Her husband is a former county commissioner and former township trustee. Surviving, with the husband, are three children: Karl Brust, near Winamac; Mrs. Meredith Fortner and Mrs. Julia Hisey, both of Whiting; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Fry and Lange funeral home, Winamac. Rites are pending.
