Butler Citizen, 11 February 1913.

Mrs. Cecelia Elizabeth Ross, wife of the Dr. M. L. Ross of New Castle, died at 9 o'clock Saturday evening in the New Castle hospital from pneumonia. She was taken to the hospital a couple of weeks ago for an operation and came through the ordeal well. Pneumonia developed and was the immediate cuase of death.

The deceased was born in Fairview township, Butler county, August 12, 1872, and was the daughter of W. S. and Hannah McCollough. She is survived by her husband; two children, Jean H. and Charles Herbert; her parents, six brothers, J. M. McCollough, A. C. McCollough, and Herbert F. McCollough, all of Chicora; William F. of Wildwood, Charles P. McCollough of Chicora, and one sister, Mrs. A. C. Myers of Otto, W. Va. The body will be taken to Chicora today and the funeral will take place at 1:30 Tuesday from the residence of her parents in Fairview township..
