Services for Andrew Paul "Andy" Franklin, age 39 of Kelly will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. David McGuffee officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickasaw Cemetery east of Olla.
Mr. Franklin was born in Columbia on July 23, 1967 and died Saturday, March 10, 2007. He was a motorman for Hercules Drilling Co. and he was an avid fan of L.S.U.
Survivors include his son: Logan Franklin of Olla, his parents James and Louise Franklin of Grayson, Christine and Henry Nappier of Columbia, his sisters: Becky Franklin of Kelly and Pam Jones and her husband: Brent of Olla, niece and nephews: Dustin and Charlie Jones of Urania, Paige Jones of Olla.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Jones, Colby Taylor, Joshua Proffer, C.H. Boyd, Johnny Wayne Gilliam and Clay Manly.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Jones and Kenneth Fatheree.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia.
