Funeral Monday for Wreck Victim

Funeral services will be held
Monday for James Ezell Dobson, 22,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt H.
Dobson, Jr., of Jackson Boulevard,
who was killed at 7:15 o'clock yesterday
morning in an automobile
accident near Gettysburg, PA.
Services will be held at the residence by Dr. J.W. Henley, Burial will be in Mt. Olivet

Two other Nashville youths, Robert
Warner, Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs.
Robert J. Warner of Hillwood
Drive, and Sam H. Howell, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Morton B. Howell of
Jackson Boulevard, was slightly
injured when Dobson's car, which
he was driving, collided with a truck.
The youth, a student at the University
of the South at Sewanee, died in
a hospital two hours later.

The body is to arrive here this

Joseph Cumming, 21, of Augusta, GA.
and Harry Douglas, Jr., Neptune
Fla., also suffered minor injuries.

The five, all students at Sewanee,
left the university Thursday to go
to New York for Easter.

Young Dobson was a native of
Nashville and a graduate of
Wallace University School where he
was a member of Alpha Chi. He
had served in the army air forces in
Texas and since his discharge in
March of last year had been
attending the University of the
South where he was to have graduated
in June. He was a member of Phi Delta
Theta, and the West End Methodist

He is survived by his parents;
his grandmothers, Mrs. M.H. Dobson Sr.,
Mrs. James B. Ezzell; two brothers,
Matt H. Dobson, IV, and John Dobson; and a
sister, Miss Lillian Dobson.
