COUNCILMAN AND FIREMAN, DIES"

BELLVILLE- SAMUEL HOWARD YARGER, 52, Bellville resident for 28 years and member of the Bellville Volunteer Fire Department and the Village Council, died at his home in Bellville yesterday noon.

He was an employee of the Empire Steel Company in Mansfield and a member of the IOOF, the Rebecca Lodge and the Bellville Agricultural Society.

Surviving are his wife, Dora Pollock Yarger; seven daughters, Mrs. Sadie Hiser of Mansfield, Mrs. Annabelle Heston of Lexington, Mrs. Nellie Pocock of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Wanda Ruhl of Fredericktown, Mrs. Lucinda Johnson of Bellville, and Miss Florence and Frances Yarger, both of the home; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hess of Butler and Mrs. Florence Dill of Bellville. Another daughter, Mrs. Galena McDonald is deceased.

Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home in Bellville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. L.P. Reed, pastor of the Bellville Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Bellville Cemetery.

Miss Dora Pollock and Howard Yarger were married Wednesday by Rev. T.S. Weaver at Mansfield. They will live on a farm near Butler.
