Jackie Lewis Marshall, 72, of Nederland, Texas, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Born October 5, 1938, in Beaumont, Texas, to Edna Inez Shannon Marshall and Lawrence Wortham Marshall, he had been a resident of the area all his life. Jackie was a retired supervisor with Cain Chemical, having over thirty years of employment and was a United States Marine veteran. He loved boxing, woodworking, and fishing.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Marshall of Nederland; daughters, Joy Boyd and her husband, Mike and Brenda Amy and her husband, Brian; son, Jackie Scott and his wife, Margarit; brother, Charles Marshall and his wife, JoAnn; sister, Charlene Cryer and her husband, V.J.; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Billie Ray Marshall and L.W. Marshall.

Burial: Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
