He was the son of the late George and Bertha Melissa Streets Buchanan and is survived by his wife, Margaret Snyder Buchanan; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Hardy from Napoleon, Ohio, Mrs. Shirley Lepley from from Columbus; three step-daughters, Mrs. Bertha Dolan, Mrs. Helen Taylor both from Columbus, Mrs. Betty Lou Myers from Key West, Florida; two brothers, Raymond Buchanan from Columbus, Clarence Buchanan from Westerville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Mary J. Buchanan Thomas who died in 1951.
Services will be held at Denton Donaldson Funeral Home on Saturday at 2 p.m. with internment in Otterbein Cemetery, Westerville.
