Donna M. Moran (nee Diedrich), 67, of Elyria, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at her home, following a brief illness. She was born October 25, 1943 in Elyria and was an Elyria resident most of her life.
Donna was employed in the accounts payable department at the Fortney & Weigandt Construction Company in North Olmsted for six years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Elyria and the Altar & Rosary Society of the church. She worked at the former Hill's Department store in Elyria for nine years, was a member of the Elyria United Polish Club Ladies Auxilary and enjoyed shopping, gambling, crocheting and spending time with her family. She and her family operated the Diederich Pumpkin Farm in North Ridgeville for 35 years.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, George; daughter Tara (James) Sivec of Oberlin; sons, Tom (Denise) Moran of LaGrange and Tim (Michelle) of Elyria; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Kathy Borowy and Rose Smith, both of Elyria, Deanna Lottman of LaGrange and Maggie Finney of North Ridgeville; Brother, George Diederich of Grafton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Diederich.
