Mary married Benjamin White, June 3, 1947, San Antonio Texas, after WWII.

Mary and Ben had 4 Children, 3 living.

Mary was the daughter of Marshal J & Elizabeth [Osborn] Wagnon,

both of the Cherokee Nation West, OK.

She was of Cherokee blood, from her fathers side of the family, her Wagnon Grand parents were both Cherokee. Thomas Foreman & Lucinda [Sixkiller] Wagnon.

Mary went to college and became a Stenographer-leaned short hand writing,

worked for the US Army during WWII at San Marcos TX. Was a devoted housewife

raised 4 children, and in her 60's went back to college and took algebra and earned

and 'A' grade in the subject. After, at the same college, she became the one of he school's secretaries. For some years she staid in touch with her ole school mates, in OK,

they would write their letters in Shorthand.
