OPEN HOUSE SUNDAY TO HONOR 90 YR OLD
An open house on Sunday will honor Bertha Marsh, who is observing her 90th birthday this week. The open house will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of MrsMarsh's daughter, Mrs W J Thompson, 257 Miller Ct. Her other children are Daisy Mandat-Cleveland, Harry & Vernon Meyne-both deceased. There are 8 grand-children & 15 gr-grandchildren.
MrsMarsh was born 2 Apr 1875 in Belden OH & was raised on a farm. She lived in the Belden-Grafton area all of her life until moving to Elyria 16 years ago. She makes her home with her granddaughter, MrsFrank Traxler, 8 Frank Ct. MrsMarsh operated a boarding house in Grafton for many years. Her hobbies are crocheting, embroiding & smocking. A family dinner Sunday will also honor MrsMarsh.

BERTHA MARSH: 93, of MillerCt-Amherst, died in the Golden Acres Home last night [11-24] after an illness of 6 weeks. MrsMarsh was born 2 Apr 1875 in Belden & formerly lived in Grafton.
Surviving are 2 daus: Pearl Thompson-Elyria; Daisy Mandat-SanDiego CA; 7 grandchildren, 16 gr-grandchildren & 3 gr-gr-grandchildren; 2 bros: Clarence Wise-Grafton, & Henry Wise-Coshocton; 2 sis: MrsAgnes Cousins-Mansfield & MrsLorena Speith-Port Clinton.
Services will be Wednesday afternoon [11-27] in the Russell Fulton Funeral Home-Grafton. The Rev W L Vernon, pastor of Belden United Methodist Church, will officiate & burial will be in Belden Cem.
