Merritt M. Barnes died at the home of his nephew, Frank Orcutt in the town of Horseheads Wednesday evening at 9:45 o'clock, aged eighty-four years. He is survived by six nephews and three nieces. The funeral was held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Mosherville, Pa., yesterday at 2 p.m. The burial was in the Mosherville cemetery (The Telegram, Elmira, New York, April 18, 1915).
