Born in Wellesley Township, Waterloo Region Ontario and daughter of Thomas Anticknap & Christina Groh. Thomas was born in England and declared Church of England as religion while her mother Christina was born in Waterloo Region and declared religion as Mennonite.


Married Sep 9, 1874 at age 22 to William McWilliams. They set up home in Wellseley Township with William employed as a wagonmaker. Their first child William Thomas McWilliams was born there April 1, 1875.


They immigrated in 1876 to Argyle, Sanilac County, Michigan. Hannah died in 1917 at the age of 65 of liver cancer.


They had 4 children ;
